What is KardiaMobile?

KardiaMobile is the personal ECG that works with your smartphone or tablet and fits easily into your pocket. The included phone clip allows you to attach KardiaMobile to your phone so it’s with you at all times.

Take unlimited ECGs anytime, anywhere without applying wires, cables or gels.

After a 30-second ECG, you’ll know if your heart rhythm is normal or if atrial fibrillation (AF) is detected. AF is one of the most common irregular heart rhythms and a leading cause of stroke.

How much time do I need to spend at London Heart Centre?

Please expect to be at London Heart Centre for 30 minutes to register and to be given instructions on use of KardiaMobile.

How do I use KardiaMobile?

Our Cardiac Physiologist will show you how to use KardiaMobile.

Download and open the Kardia app on your phone, and tap “record ECG.”

Place KardiaMobile near your phone, and rest one or two fingers on each sensor, with your right fingers on one sensor, and your left fingers on the other.

Hold still for 30 seconds while your ECG is being recorded.

You can store ECGs on your phone, and email your ECG to your doctor with the press of a button.
